Art Competition Winners Announced

The winners of the Shetland Boat Week bairns art competition were announced on Monday, with the winners receiving their prizes at Shetland Museum and Archives.

The judges, John Hunter and Morag Nicolson, were highly impressed with the standard of entries and decided to award commendations to an additional four entries to reflect the quality of the work submitted.

All the winning artwork is on display in the foyer corridor at Shetland Museum and Archives during Shetland Boat Week, and all other entries are on show on a screen alongside the winners. The theme was 'At Sea' and the range of pictures received was very imaginative and diverse.
