Ever wondered where the term ‘blueprint’ originates? You’ve guessed it - it’s from the 1842 invention of a cyanotype process.
Let your peerie one be captured by the fascinating world of vintage photography methods in this workshop led by photographer Chris G Smith. Using a selection of transparencies, your child can pick an image of Shetland they’d like to print.
At the end of this workshop, they will not only leave with some incredible postcards and bookmarks, but having learned some quite scientific processes- secret history and chemistry learning!
