On the 100th Anniversary of the Battle of the Ancre, Jon Sandison tells the story of the Shetland Territorials from their formation as part of the Gordon Highlanders to the Western Front. This gallery talk will follow the new exhibition “They volunteered their all” curated by Jon. It is a community and family story as much as it is a military one.
The talk will be repeated at 2.00pm and 3.30pm.
