Andrew Dishington Mathewson of East Yell was a teacher, registrar, postmaster, surveyor and meticulous record keeper - his teaching influenced the lives of Shetlanders for 70 years.
In this lecture, Eileen will show how his records shed light on many aspects of life in nineteenth century Shetland.
Doors open at 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start.
