Grayson Perry - Family Day
Saturday, November 23rd 2019 12:00pm
Shetland Museum and Archives
The main theme of the Grayson Perry A Potted Biography exhibition is life stories. The motifs on the two pots tell the story of the artist’s character, and what shaped him as a person.
The other part of the exhibition, My Potted Biography reveals how everyday objects belonging to local people can tell stories about their owner - sometimes funny, sometimes sad.
Come along to the museum and take part in a variety of events and workshops exploring biography. There’s something for all the family including:
- Children’s activities – 12.00pm–4.00pm
Drop-in Craft Activities
Make and decorate a small airdrying clay pot to take home
Help decorate a large ceramic pot using collage, stickers and stamps
- All the family – 12.00pm-4.00pm
