Emigration and Travel- Design and Post a Postcard

Send a postcard from Shetland- Shetlander's have travelled all over the world, and, before the age of digital communications, letters and postcards were some of the only means of communication. Participants will get the chance to view interesting postcards and letters sent by Shetlanders, including those working at sea, telling of their adventures to family back home. We'll then design our own postcards and write a note to the intended recipient.
*Pre-workshop requirement* - Please bring a note of the address of the intended recipient to the workshop so we can arrange to post the postcard to the intended person.
