Celebrating the inspiration and designs behind the Shetland Wool Week Annual 2022.
It is a showcase of textiles created for Shetland Wool Week 2022 that celebrates the creativity of some of our most talented knitters, designers and makers. ‘Casting On’ demonstrates the strength of connection between past, present, people and place using Shetland wool as the connecting fibre.
The exhibition will focus on the 12 makers and the inspiration and process behind their work. Designers include Donna Smith, Ella Gordon, Unst Heritage Centre, Alison Rendall, Elizabeth Johnston and more.
Runs from Monday 26 September – Sunday 30 October
